Top 6 Most Dangerous Medicines For People Over 40… Are You Taking any of These?

Many people measure their physical and mental health by the frequency at which they see a doctor. Those who rarely find themselves in doctors’ presence tend to be better for that. This is purely historical, but remember what the 18th century Voltaire said.

“The art of medicine consists of amusing the patient while nature cures the disease.”

All kidding aside, doctors are a very important part of our community. You will face a virus or infection that requires a doctor. This article’s not meant to vilify your doctor. You will have access to healthcare at any time in 2018. If you have a severe infection or illness, seek medical attention.

What this essay is meant for is to recognize that there are drugs that imprison people out there. I have deliberately selected the word ‘imprisonment’ as it better represents the life of someone who has become dependent on the different drugs we’ll be talking about.

There’s plenty of money to be made in the medicines sector. It is a major industry with bigger problems than your well-being. Take this example from Peak Prosperity, by Chris Martenson:

Pharmaceutical companies quietly fund opposition to medical marijuana ballot initiatives because the data shows that the use of safe and effective marijuana seriously cuts into the extremely profitable sales of highly addictive and deadly opiates.”

Statins

These lipid-reduction drugs are often prescribed to people with heart conditions and have seen a severe boom late in life. You know, I’m sure, at least one person over 40 who is on statins. These medications can minimize lipids in the blood but they come with a host of other side effects. It seems that statins can be linked to other life-threatening diseases as well as having a negative effect on the overall body efficiency.

You need to get a grip on the market to better understand the reasons behind the statins. Find it at AHN-USA.com

“Heart disease, as many of us know, is one of the leading causes of death in the US, killing about 610,000 people each year. Big Pharma—in the belief that cholesterol is the primary factor in heart disease—developed statin drugs that would lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. The drugs, which have been accompanied by massive marketing campaign are huge moneymakers for the drug industry to the tune of about $29 billion worth of sales in 2013. That’s the kind of outrageous money you make when you convince one in four Americans over the age of 45 to take statins.”

Cholesterol is the glue which heals the wall of your endothelium. It’s not a death sentence, it’s an essential part of the natural functions of your body. Exercising is the easiest way to keep the standards in order. There are products such as oat bran, garlic and barley which have been shown to also affect cholesterol levels.

SSRIS

We should continue with the low hanging fruit and list the majority of mass shooters prescribed for such medicines. That’s an argument against them today, which is all over the web. The deeper root of the problem with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors is the capacity of the patient to handle the drug and use certain drugs as a long-term remedy.

When the dose varies sporadically, i.e. if the person on them forgets or chooses not to take too many or stops taking them entirely, these drugs are extremely dangerous. No safety measures are in place to avoid this. Instead, you have a person who struggles with their own minds and who also alters their chemistry.

The best examples of using SSRI came from individuals who paid careful attention to their bodies, used it as a rung to understand it, and then they felt it was easier to wean it away. The only challenge is that holding people up on them pays.

Flu Vaccine

The shot to treat flu is a gamble. Each year is a gamble. Doctors are trying to predict the future by predicting which flu strains will turn up and do the most harm in the season ahead. Those strains are the antidote for flu, which are injected into the body.

It’s more reliable than doctors pulling flu strains from a hat but it’s still a lot of a gamble. I just took one flu shot and my first son was born in that year. I haven’t had the flu but I haven’t had the flu for many years.

There are allergy concerns as well as other contaminants found in the flu vaccine makingup.

Flu is a virus and I find that the easiest way to cope with viral infections is by pumping large doses of ascorbic acid on yourself. Each day I take between 1-2000mgs of Vitamin C in the crystalized form.

Ibuprofen

You certainly didn’t expect to see Ibuprofen on the list. This is an anti-inflammatory and benign pain reliever, right? Low dose, something you’ll typically take at least once a week. The truth of the matter is that excessive Ibuprofen daily use will wreak havoc on your body. Consistent use can cause long term harm to internal organs such as the liver and kidneys.

The other important and less known problem is the effect of ibuprofen on inflammation and your intestines. Anti-inflammatory OTCs have been linked with stomach problems and stomach ulcers that cause bleeding.

Alternative:

Some of the easiest ways to get rid of the inflammation is by looking at what you eat. Factors such as gluten and sugars have been shown to increase inflammation in the body. Eating foods like ginger and turmeric will affect the inflammation in your body along with things like fatty fish. Look at your diet before taking the pills for answers to your pain issues.

Prednisone and Cortisone

In America, the drugs are given to people all the time. Some people who suffer from things like asthma, these medications include lupus and rashes. You may even have them recommended for other things. Such drugs interfere with the development of natural hormones in your body. They have detrimental impacts on the immune system, too. They can never be taken over for extended periods.

They have also been shown to affect:

  • Blood Sugar
  • Mood
  • Weight Gain
  • Fluid Retention

Alternative:

In most cases, you take these medicines for some kind of inflammation. It’s important to look at how your diet and exercise could affect your inflammation, as well as daily activities and the environment. Similar to what was recommended for use of Ibuprofen.

Chemotherapy

Whether you’ve ever seen someone affected by chemotherapy, it’s terrible to watch. Chemo is our cancer solution right now and that’s a bad one. In most cases, chemo only causes the cancer to recede before fighting back with greater voracity.

Gene test can tell people with breast cancer if they need chemo ...

Alternative:

There are some amazing results and case studies on CBD oil and THC’s effect on cancer cells. Consider the beneficial impact that consumers of CBD oil have on their battle with cancer. Compared with the debilitating effects of chemo this is a far less invasive process.

Upon the start of their use, millions of dollars are poured into the efficacy of medicines. Are they fast to fix the problem? The biggest problem with Pharmaceuticals is that there isn’t the same money or energy being poured into recognizing these medications’ long-term consequences or long-term need.
